There's no place like home for Locust Fork, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Thursday. They breezed by the Douglas Eagles to the tune of  51-16 on Monday. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight  contests by 28  points or more this season.
 Locust Fork got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Cortlyn Williamson out in front who  posted 11  points and six  assists.  Haley Dutton was another key player,  putting up nine points and four  steals.
Locust Fork pushed their record up to 13-8 with the  win, which was their sixth straight  at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 55.7 points per game. As for Douglas, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost nine of their last ten matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record  this season.
 Locust Fork does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Douglas, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  a  37-36  victory against Asbury on the 28th.
