Leo has gone 8-2 against Garrett recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Lions will square off against the Railroaders at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Leo is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest loss since April 30th on Saturday. They lost 16-9 to Huntington North. While the Lions didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Vikings 4-0 in the first period.

Leo got a big performance out of Luke MacDonald, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three runs. Another player making a difference was Ethan Wudy, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Garrett and Lakeland, and Lakeland kept the tradition alive. The Railroaders came up short against the Lakers on Thursday, falling 17-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Railroaders have suffered against the Lakers since May 16, 2019.

Garrett has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season. As for Leo, their loss dropped their record down to 20-5.

Leo took their win against Garrett when the teams last played two weeks ago by a conclusive 15-6 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
