Soccer Game Preview: Rochester vs. Northwestern

Rochester is 1-7 against Northwestern since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Zebras will be playing at home against the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. Rochester has given up an average of 3.5 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Rochester's offense. They came up short against Peru on Thursday, falling 6-0.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northwestern). They were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over Peru on Wednesday. The victory was familiar territory for Northwestern, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Northwestern's win bumped their record up to 9-3-1. As for Rochester, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-1.
