Basketball Recap: Cleveland Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Cleveland and Lincoln squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Cleveland had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Lincoln Cardinals by a score of 59-57. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-39 back in January.

Cleveland has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record this season. Lincoln's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-9.

Looking ahead, Cleveland will take on McMinnville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. McMinnville will roll in looking for their 17th straight win, something Cleveland surely won't give up without a fight. Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
