Winnacunnet had lost three games at home, but after bumping their record up to 9-10-1 on Wednesday that streak is in the rearview. They skirted past the Nashua South Purple Panthers 3-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

As for Nashua South, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-13. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only 1.5 runs.

For Nashua South's part, Aidan O'Connor was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two RBI.

Coming up, Winnacunnet will challenge Bedford at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Nashua South, they will face off against Manchester Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
