Baseball Preview: Sachse Mustangs vs. Dallas Jesuit Rangers

The Sachse Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Dallas Jesuit Rangers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Last Thursday, Sachse made easy work of Naaman Forest and carried off a 9-2 win. The victory was just what Sachse needed coming off of a 12-0 defeat in their prior game.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Dallas Jesuit's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of Highland Park by a score of 2-1.

Dallas Jesuit got a good showing from Jaxx Rigelsky, who pitched 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (he also only allowed one walk).

At the plate, Dallas Jesuit saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shane Parker, who went 1-for-2 with a stolen base.
