Volleyball Recap: Maple Grove Extends Winning Streak to Three

Maple Grove waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Farmington Tigers.

Max Miley paced Maple Grove's offense, picking up 11 kills. Miley got some help from Ryan Patten and his 26 assists. Finally, Lucas Raske kept Maple Grove's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Maple Grove's victory bumped their record up to 8-4.

Maple Grove didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Eastview on the 19th. As for Farmington, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Burnsville at 7:00 p.m. on May 8.
