Recap: Harts Bluff Bulldogs vs. Rivercrest Rebels
The Harts Bluff Bulldogs lost against the Rivercrest Rebels back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Harts Bluff fell to Rivercrest 37-33. Harts Bluff has struggled against Rivercrest recently, as their game on Wednesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Harts Bluff's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaitley Green, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Alexa Arzate, who scored nine points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rivercrest to victory, but perhaps none more so than Anna Duvall, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Alexis Carey was another key contributor, scoring four points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Harts Bluff's loss dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Rivercrest, their victory bumped their record up to 10-17.
Harts Bluff will be playing in front of their home fans against Maud at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Rivercrest, they will head out on the road to square off against Clarksville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Clarksville will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
