Basketball Recap: Antelope Piles Up the Points Against Woodside

Antelope saw some tournament action on Thursday. They blew past the Woodside Wildcats, posting a 79-50 win. Given the Titans' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 217th, while the Wildcats are ranked 493rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Antelope got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Andre Brooks out in front who went 6 for 8 on his way to 15 points and four steals. Brooks is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aj Cook, who posted 11 points and five steals.

Antelope's record is now 3-1. As for Woodside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Antelope didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 81-64 win against Lincoln on the 6th. As for Woodside, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 73-53 victory against Varsity Opponent on the 6th.
