Noblesville gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Columbus North Bull Dogs. The victory continues a trend for Noblesville in their matchups with Columbus North: they've now won three in a row.

Quinn Johnston and Carsten Shidler scored both of Noblesville's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.
