Baseball Recap: Augusta Comes Up Short

Augusta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 15-0 to the Nicholas County Bluejackets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bluejackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-1 back in March.

Augusta's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Nicholas County, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 14-14 record.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bluejackets beat Augusta by a score of 16-0 later that day.
