Baseball Recap: Four Straight Home Wins for North Miami

North Miami had won four straight at home, but on Tuesday they bumped their record up to 10-2 to make it five. They blew past the Triton Trojans 9-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-9 on Monday.

Braylon McIntire spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on nine hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ryan Meredith, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Quinn Hostetler, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

As for Triton, they now have a losing record of 5-6. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

On Triton's side, they saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Drew Bingamon, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. The Trojans are 5-2 when Bingamon posts two or more runs, but 0-4 otherwise.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Miami will take on West Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Triton, they will square off against Plymouth at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
