Softball Recap: Buffalo Comes Up Short

Buffalo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They came up short against the St. Michael-Albertville Knights, falling 16-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-3 two weeks ago.

Buffalo saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Avery Bjorklund, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Buffalo's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for St. Michael-Albertville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Buffalo will square off against Big Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Michael-Albertville, they will face off against Rogers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Royals will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight.
