Softball Recap: Queen City Takes a Loss

Queen City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Atlanta Rabbits. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rabbits earlier this season, when they won 8-5.

Queen City's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Atlanta, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Queen City is set to take on their familiar foe New Boston at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Atlanta will square off against rival Hooks at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
