Volleyball Recap: Webster Groves Comes Up Short

Webster Groves was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Eureka Wildcats. The Statesmen were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-20, 23-25, 25-13.

Webster Groves' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Eureka, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Webster Groves will venture away from home to face off against Mehlville at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Eureka, they will face off against Lafayette at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
