Basketball Recap: Capital City Takes a Loss

Capital City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 60-35 to the Helias Crusaders. The contest marked the Cavaliers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Capital City's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Helias, they pushed their record up to 7-8 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Capital City will face off against Southern Boone at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Southern Boone will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Capital City surely won't give up without a fight. As for Helias, they will square off against Hickman at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hickman has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
