Basketball Recap: Woodson Find Success

Woodson hadn't done well against West Potomac recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Woodson Cavaliers came out on top against the West Potomac Wolverines by a score of 43-35. This was a revenge game for the Cavaliers: when they faced off against the Wolverines last Monday, they had to take a 37-35 defeat.

Woodson had a senior duo take command as Theo Burke posted 14 points and William Taylor scored six points and nine boards. Taylor has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Kollin Morgan, who had five points.

The victory made it two in a row for Woodson and bumps their season record up to 20-4. As for West Potomac, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-11.
