Softball Recap: Skyridge Falcons vs. Lone Peak Knights
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lehi, Skyridge was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Lone Peak Knights with a sharp 11-4 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Skyridge considering their two-run performance the game before.
Addalie Purcell spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on four hits and racked up nine Ks.
On the hitting side, Skyridge let Maylee Walston and Peyton Hall loose on the outfield. Walston scored three runs while going 1-for-3, while Hall went 2-for-4 with a triple and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylie Power, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
