Football Recap: Hagerman Piles Up the Points Against Glenns Ferry + How To Watch

Hagerman faced Glenns Ferry in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Pirates claimed a resounding 58-6 victory over the Pilots. The Pirates have beaten the Pilots the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Pilots has come to flipping the script.

Hagerman was led to victory by Wyatt Mavencamp and Casen Knight. Mavencamp threw for 223 yards and four TDs, while Knight gained 208 total yards and three touchdowns. What's more, Mavencamp posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was William Mavencamp, who picked up 41 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Hagerman didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Glenns Ferry to a completion percentage of just 38.1%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from three players: Knight, Cameron Clausse, and Zander Cenarussa, who each logged one passes deflected. Hagerman hasn't an opponent to post a completion percentage of 0.23 or higher in four consecutive contests.

Hagerman's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Glenns Ferry, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.
