Softball Recap: Pomeroy Takes a Loss

Pomeroy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Colton Wildcats, falling 23-1. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Pirates couldn't push the score so high this time.

Pomeroy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Molly Warren, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. That stolen base marked the first that Warren snagged this season.

Pomeroy's record is now 0-10. As for Colton, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pomeroy will welcome Liberty Christian at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Colton, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Garfield-Palouse at 11:00 a.m.
