Volleyball Game Preview: Xavier Prep Saints vs. Palm Desert Aztecs + Official Tickets

If La Quinta wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Xavier Prep, they should've done a better job of containing Arianna Padilla. The Saints blew past the Blackhawks 3-0 on Monday for which the team can thank Padilla, who had 11 digs and two assists. She has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last 12 times she's played.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Xavier Prep was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Palm Desert earned a 3-1 win over Palm Springs on Monday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 17-25, 25-15, 25-21.

Xavier Prep's victory bumped their record up to 29-5. As for Palm Desert, their win bumped their record up to 22-7.
