Basketball Game Preview: Washington Huskies vs. Irvington Vikings

Washington is 1-9 against Irvington since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Washington Huskies will be playing in front of their home fans against the Irvington Vikings at 7:00 p.m. Irvington took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Washington, who comes in off a win.

Washington will bounce into Thursday's matchup after beating American, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Washington strolled past American with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 55-40.

Meanwhile, Irvington ended up a good deal behind Mission San Jose on Tuesday and lost 40-26. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Irvington's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Washington, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
