Soccer Recap: Clinton Takes a Loss

If Clinton was feeling good fresh off their 4-1 takedown of Tupelo last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Clinton Arrows fell just short of the Madison Central Jaguars by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. The shutout was out of character for the Arrows seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in December of 2024.

Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 9-5-1. As for Madison Central, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-2-1.

Clinton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Madison Central, they will take on Ocean Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
