Volleyball Recap: Broome Has No Trouble Against Greer Middle College

Broome won the last time they faced Greer Middle College and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Centurions put the hurt on the Blazers with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Broome not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Greer Middle College between 16 and 18 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-16, 25-18.

Kourtney Wofford paced Broome's offense, picking up 15 kills. Wofford got some help from Hannah Cooksey and her 19 assists. Cheyenne Mitchell controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Broome's win bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Greer Middle College, they are on a 29-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Coincidentally, Broome and Greer Middle College will both be playing Mountain View Prep the next time they take the court. The Centurions will head out to face the Stars at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Blazers will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
