Soccer Recap: Milpitas Has No Trouble Against Macdonald

Milpitas was not the first on the board on Thursday, but they got there more often. They put the hurt on the MacDonald Condor with a sharp 4-1 victory. The score was close at the half, but the Trojans pulled away in the second half with four goals.

They hit MacDonald with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ryan Saxelby, Jesse Robles, Jordan Saldana, and Gonzalo Merino Sanchez.

The win made it two in a row for Milpitas and bumps their season record up to 8-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored seven goals over those two games. As for MacDonald, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Coincidentally, Milpitas and MacDonald will both be playing Cupertino the next time they take the pitch. MacDonald will head out to face Cupertino at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while Milpitas will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
