Shawnee's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They snuck past the Central Yellow Jackets with a 54-48 win. For the Golden Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 62-49 victory the Yellow Jackets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 6-12. As for Central, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-17.

Looking ahead, Shawnee will host Seneca at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Seneca's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches. As for Central, they are taking a road trip to square off against Male at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
