Volleyball Recap: Omaha Christian Comes Up Short

Omaha Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the College View Academy Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Tuesday.

Ruby Colling paced Omaha Christian's offense, picking up seven kills. Colling got some help from Iahna Hendrick and her ten assists. Colling also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Emma Wheelock, each putting up two.

Dalayna Bogue was nothing short of spectacular for College View Academy: she had 34 digs and two assists. Those 34 digs gave Bogue a new career-high.

Omaha Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for College View Academy, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Omaha Christian has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Cedar Bluffs on the 30th. As for College View Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Heartland Christian on the 2nd.
