Softball Recap: Prescott Comes Up Short

Prescott fell victim to Smackover and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Smackover Buckaroos, falling 12-0. The Curley Wolves just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Prescott's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Smackover, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Prescott will welcome Gurdon at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Prescott has given up an average of 11 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Smackover, they will be playing at home against DeWitt at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
