Basketball Game Preview: La Pryor Bulldogs vs. Sabinal Yellowjackets

La Pryor hasn't had much luck against Sabinal recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The La Pryor Bulldogs will face off against the Sabinal Yellowjackets at 6:30 p.m.

La Pryor played against Falls City and lost via forfeit.

Last Friday, Sabinal strolled past Charlotte with points to spare, taking the game 77-58. The Yellowjackets pushed the score to 64-38 by the end of the third, a deficit the Trojans cut but never quite recovered from.

Sabinal's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-17. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.7 points over those games. As for La Pryor, their loss dropped their record down to 4-15.

La Pryor suffered a grim 67-46 defeat to Sabinal in their previous meeting back in January. Can La Pryor avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
