Recap: Worthington Kilbourne Wolves vs. Dublin Scioto Irish

After a string of three wins, the Worthington Kilbourne Wolves's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of Dublin Scioto by a score of 50-48. Worthington Kilbourne was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Dublin Scioto apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

Several Wolves players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brylan Brown, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Wolford, who scored 13 points.

Worthington Kilbourne struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Worthington Kilbourne's defeat dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Dublin Scioto, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Worthington Kilbourne will challenge Hayes at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Hayes' favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. Dublin Scioto won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Hilliard Darby at 3:00 p.m. on December 16th.
