University City has gone a perfect 3-0 against San Diego recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Centurions will welcome the Cavers at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

University City is headed into Monday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They came up short against El Camino, falling 10-3.

University City saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addyson Weathers, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, San Diego fell victim to Canyon Hills and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 13-0 to the Rattlers. The defeat continues a trend for the Cavers in their meetings with the Rattlers: they've now lost five in a row.

University City's loss dropped their record down to 4-9-1. As for San Diego, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.

University City came out on top in a nail-biter against San Diego in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, sneaking past 8-6. Do the Centurions have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cavers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
