            Softball Recap: Los Altos Eagles vs. Sequoia Ravens        
        
		
        
        
            While Los Altos's  win against Sequoia wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Los Altos Eagles came out on top in a nail-biter against the Sequoia Ravens on Tuesday, sneaking past  6-5. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played  back in March of 2024.

 Kaylyn Cox spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five  runs (all of which were unearned)  on three hits and racked up ten Ks. The dominant performance gave  her a new career-high in  strikeouts.
 At the plate,  Nadia Mootz was  excellent,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-2. Those  two  runs gave  her a new career-high.  Isabella Cirimele also deserves some recognition as  she  hit her first  triple of the season.
Los Altos' record now sits at 4-2. As for Sequoia, they now  have a losing record of 1-2.
 Looking ahead, Los Altos will challenge Woodside at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Los Altos is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5  runs per game  this season. As for Sequoia, they will welcome Hillsdale  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
