Reavis hadn't done well against Shepard recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Rams had just enough and edged out the Astros 6-5. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-4 on Wednesday.
Mariana Lara was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Lily Fish, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
The victory made it two in a row for Reavis and bumps their season record up to 13-10. As for Shepard, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.
