Baseball Game Preview: Alief Elsik Rams vs. George Ranch Longhorns

Alief Elsik is 0-6 against George Ranch since March of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. Alief Elsik will face off against George Ranch at 6:00 p.m. Alief Elsik has given up an average of 15.3 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Alief Elsik fell victim to Strake Jesuit and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Fighting Crusaders, falling 22-0. The Rams just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for George Ranch, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over Strake Jesuit last Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Longhorns as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

George Ranch's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 9-12-1. As for Alief Elsik, their loss dropped their record down to 1-15.

Alief Elsik suffered a grim 21-0 defeat to George Ranch in their previous matchup back in April of 2019. Can Alief Elsik avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
