After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Port Allegany, Brockway was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They managed a 31-26 win over the St. Marys Flying Dutch. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 20-13 back in August.

Despite the loss, St. Marys still got an impressive performance from Andrew Field, who rushed for 120 yards and a pair of scores. Field also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because the Flying Dutch are 2-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 2-6 otherwise. Frankie Smith was another key player, picking up 77 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Brockway's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for St. Marys, their record is now 4-7.

Brockway will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Penn Cambria at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. The Panthers' defense has only allowed 13.6 points per game this season, so the Rovers' offense will have their work cut out for them. St. Marys does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
