Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Grant

Grant had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Hastings Saxons. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-1 victory back in August.

Bouwkamp Payton paced Grant's offense, picking up nine kills. Payton got some help from Campbell Lauryn and her ten assists. Gee Lillian controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Grant's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Hastings, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10-1 record this season.

Grant will take on Muskegon Catholic Central in a tournament on Saturday. As for Hastings, they will challenge Northwest at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
