Recap: Deep Run Wildcats vs. Cosby Titans
The Deep Run Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Cosby 77-45. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Deep Run has scored all season.
When it comes to explaining why Deep Run lost, one person who can't be blamed is Adam Aldinger. Despite the final result, he scored 16 points. That's the first time this season that Aldinger scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Quentin Morgan, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds.
Deep Run bumped their record down to 4-4 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Cosby, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-4.
Deep Run will square off against Atlee at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Atlee is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games. Cosby will be home for the holidays to greet Richmond City School of the Arts at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Richmond City School of the Arts is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
