Recap: Lincoln Lions vs. Mt. Hope Huskies
Even though the Mt. Hope Huskies scored an imposing 65 points on Friday, the Lincoln Lions still came out on top. Lincoln took their game against Mt. Hope 77-65. Given Lincoln's advantage in MaxPreps' Rhode Island basketball rankings (they are ranked second, while Mt. Hope is ranked 40th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Camden Dichiara, who scored 35 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Bergeron, who scored 13 points.
Lincoln pushed their record up to 20-1 with that win, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Mt. Hope, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16.
Lincoln will be playing at home against Shea at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mt. Hope, they will head out on the road to face off against Tiverton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
