Sehome waltzed into their match on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Squalicum Storm 37-34. That's two games straight that the Mariners have won by exactly three points.

Sehome pushed their record up to 8-11 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Squalicum, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-8.

Sehome will square off against Burlington-Edison at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Burlington-Edison knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Sehome likes a good challenge. As for Squalicum, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Oak Harbor at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Squalicum is facing Oak Harbor at the right time seeing as Oak Harbor is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
