Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 235th, while the Mustangs are ranked 476th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Colleyville Heritage to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sameer Johnson, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine boards. Cash Gardner was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Colleyville Heritage now has a winning record of 16-15. As for Grapevine, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-20 record this season.
