Basketball Recap: Avery Beard's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Kimberly over Marsh Valley + How To Watch

Kimberly was the 66-50 winner over Marsh Valley when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs took a 58-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles on Saturday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kimberly lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Avery Beard, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Emma Chavez, who put up 13 points.

Kimberly's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Kimberly will square off against Jerome at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marsh Valley, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on West Side at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
