Basketball Game Preview: Bush Blazers vs. Bear Creek Grizzlies

Bush hasn't had much luck against Bear Creek recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bush Blazers will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Bear Creek Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Tuesday, Bush strolled past South Whidbey with points to spare, taking the game 74-57. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blazers.

Meanwhile, Bear Creek didn't have too much trouble with Northwest on Friday as they won 65-49. The Grizzlies pushed the score to 58-35 by the end of the third, a deficit the House cut but never quite recovered from.

Bush better keep an eye on Max Beiber. He was instrumental in Bear Creek's win, going 10 for 17 on his way to 28 points along with eight assists and eight boards. The match was Beiber's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Conner Jensen, who went 5 of 7 en route to 16 points.

Bush's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Bear Creek, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Bush was dealt a bruising 53-25 loss at the hands of Bear Creek in their previous meeting back in January. Can Bush avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
