Football Recap: Cinnaminson Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Cinnaminson's offense. They were outmatched by the Delran Bears and fell 35-0. The Pirates lost against the Bears in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 24-21 score last time.

A big part of Delran's win came down to the chemistry between Vinny Sacca and his top target Justin Mary. Sacca threw for 129 yards and one touchdown while Mary picked up 36 receiving yards and one TD.

Cinnaminson now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Delran, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Cinnaminson will challenge rival Haddon Heights at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Delran is set to take on their familiar foe Northern Burlington at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
