Football Game Preview: Blessed Trinity Titans vs. Westminster Wildcats

The Blessed Trinity Titans will head out to square off against the Westminster Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither Blessed Trinity nor Westminster posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Blessed Trinity's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Kell last Friday. They fell just short of the Longhorns by a score of 3-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Titans were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Westminster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by Kell 49-0. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 186th, while the Longhorns are ranked 33rd).

Blessed Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Westminster, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Blessed Trinity took their victory against Westminster in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 26-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
