Basketball Recap: Everett Comes Up Short

Everett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Grand Ledge Comets, falling 62-11. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Comets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-4 back in January.

Everett's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Grand Ledge, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-16.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Everett will venture away from home to face off against Sexton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Grand Ledge, they will take on Northwest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
