Softball Recap: Clackamas Takes a Loss

Clackamas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 8-1 to the Beaverton Beavers. If the Cavaliers were looking for revenge after losing 21-20 to the Beavers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Clackamas' loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Beaverton, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clackamas will take on Gresham at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cavaliers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Gophers have averaged an impressive 9.5 runs per game this season. As for Beaverton, they are taking a road trip to face off against Southridge at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
