Basketball Recap: Mapletown Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Mapletown lost to Bethlehem Center back in December of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Maples took a blow against the Bulldogs, falling 78-26. The Maples were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 54-12.

Bethlehem Center got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jason Zellie out in front who shot 46% from the field en route to 17 points along with six boards and five assists. Zellie also grabbed three steals, which is notable because the Bulldogs are 5-1 when he posts at least three steals, but 4-5 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Parker Amos, who went 7-for-14 to rack up 16 points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals.

Mapletown's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Bethlehem Center, they pushed their record up to 9-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Mapletown didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 73-29 loss against West Greene on the 20th. As for Bethlehem Center, they have also already played their next game, a 66-44 defeat against Jefferson-Morgan on the 20th.
