Recap: Scott Highlanders vs. Monterey Wildcats
The Scott Highlanders waltzed into their match on Friday with three straight wins but they left with four. They skirted past Monterey 51-48. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Scott also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.
Monterey lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Aiden Roberson-Barber, who scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Gustavo Galindez, who scored 14 points along with two blocks.
Scott has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for Monterey, they are on a 19-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-27.
Scott does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Monterey also has no future games currently scheduled.
