Volleyball Game Preview: Mancos Bluejays vs. Telluride Miners

The Mancos Bluejays will take on the Telluride Miners at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mancos has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with five straight losses, while Telluride will come in with five straight wins.

Mancos came up short against Sanford on Friday, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, Telluride made easy work of Norwood last Friday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Telluride took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-10, 25-15.

Mancos better focus on containing Lillyann Mahoney and Hazel Noel as the pair were huge in Telluride's win. Mahoney had 21 assists and eight digs, while Noel had ten digs and ten assists. That's the most assists Mahoney has posted since back in October of 2024.

Telluride's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Mancos, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.
