Basketball Recap: Zoe Whitfield Key Part of Team Effort in Rams Win + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Rolesville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 46-39 win over the Wake Forest Cougars on Tuesday. The Rams have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

Rolesville's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zoe Whitfield, who posted 19 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Whitfield has scored at least a third of the Rams' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklynn Munoz, who had 12 points.

Despite the loss, Wake Forest still got an impressive performance from Taylor McCartney, who went 6-for-14 en route to 16 points in addition to eight boards and five steals. Another player making a difference was Ximena Vargas-Hernandez, who scored six points and three steals.
